In this modern adaptation of the classic Greek tragedy by Euripides, the men of Troy have been slaughtered and the women, who have witnessed their sons and husbands die as fighting and destruction raged throughout the city, are left to endure the aftermath. They await their fates as they are assigned one-by-one to Greek masters and ripped from the land they have loved. This is a play about both the physical and emotional costs of war, and its victims, then and now.
